| Introduction | |||||||||||||
| Modular Groundwater Optimizer (MGO) is a
general simulation-optimization code incorporating MODFLOW and MT3DMS for
groundwater resource and quality management. MGO is developed by
Chunmiao Zheng and Patrick Wang at the University of Alabama in
cooperation with Groundwater Systems Research Ltd. This release of MGO is
intended for readers of Applied Contaminant
Transport Modeling for educational purposes. It includes only
genetic algorithms, one of the several available optimization solvers in
MGO, and is restricted to the maximum of 20 decision variables. |

Download the following self-extracting file
and save it to a temporary directory on your hard drive.
To install MGOEDU to the hard drive, click on the self-extracting zip file. Accept the default directory (folder) 'c:\zbsoft2\mgoedu' or specify a different name to continue. The following subdirectories will be created after mgoedu.exe is unzipped:
